Quick Tip: Change Your Galaxy S8's LED Flashlight Brightness in Just a Few Taps
Like Russian Matryoshka dolls, the features on the Galaxy S8 and S8+ often have hidden components within them that add to their functionality. The phone's flashlight is a great example of this since there's a hidden shortcut within the "Flashlight" Quick Settings tile that lets you adjust its brightness level. So for those times when you just need a little bit of light and don't want to be blinded, here's a quick tip on how to access the shortcut on the S8's Quick Settings tile to adjust the brightness of the device's built-in LED flashlight.

Let There Be LightAdjusting the brightness on the S8's flashlight is extremely easy to do. Simply swipe down from the top of any screen to access the Quick Settings panel, then tap on the "Flashlight" text beneath the flashlight icon, and you'll be taken to another page. From there, you can adjust the light's brightness, in addition to having the ability to turn it on and off using the toggle in the upper-right corner of the screen. You can still tap the flashlight icon in the Quick Settings menu to quickly toggle the LED flash on or off, just like you've been able to do on past Galaxy devices. But tapping the text itself to access this expanded menu is a new feature, and it's one we're liking a lot so far. What are your thoughts?
